Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is there power for the vendors to use? 

Yes, the two buildings have electrical outlets around the perimeter and down the middle of the spaces.


2. Is there a supplied internet connection (WiFi) to use? Is there a cost for its use?

Yes, wifi is available (need to confirm indoor only or available outdoors as well)


3. Are table & chairs supplied? Or are they available to rent?

Tables and chairs are available for indoor vendor spaces.  Outdoor vendors will need to provide their own set-up

4. How many unique cities and counties have attended in the past (i.e. before COVID) for the Central Chapter?

When COAPWA hosted the Expo in 2017 there were 343 attendees from agencies across the state.  We hosted 28 outdoor vendors and 36 indoor vendors at the 2017 Expo.

5. How long are demo time slots?

Demo time slots are approximately 15 minutes long. We will have 10 demos from 9 am to 11:30 am. Please keep demo's to a maximum of 15 minutes to allow the next group of demo's to start.

6. Will APWA be providing the sponsor banner?

If you have signed up as a sponsor, we will be reaching out to you closer to the event to request a copy of your companies logo. Our team will make a banner out of all of the sponsors logo's that will likely be placed near the DJ booth which will be centrally located at the event.

6. When can I set-up for the event?

Wednesday, August 10th 4-7 pm.

Thursday, August 11th, 7-8 am.

7. Will there be any networking opportunities outside of the Expo?

8. Where should I stay?

Towne Place Suites by Marriott at 4079 Lyman Drive and Avid Hotel at 3900 Lyman Drive will both be offering their government rates to vendors who mention the APWA Expo and ask for their government rates. Call their front desks today to secure your room! Both hotels are also in close proximity to the social events and fairgrounds.
