The City of Chardon, Ohio is accepting applications for a 2nd shift Operator in the Division of Water and Wastewater. This is a Full-Time position with benefits and OPERS retirement with a salary range of $25.92/hr. to $33.09/hr. depending on experience.
Requirements for the position include: graduation from high school (or GED) with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a public works or public service department with considerable experience in water and sewer systems including supervisory. Possession of a Class II Water Operators Certificate and a Class III Wastewater Operators Certificate issued by the Ohio EPA is required. Must possess a valid Ohio Commercial Driver’s license or the ability to obtain upon hire.
